Platform Overview
Rescale is a managed platform for running simulation and high-performance computing workloads in the cloud. You bring the model and the software; Rescale supplies the hardware, the software installation, the parallel environment, and the data movement around them.
If you have not run anything yet, start with Getting Started and come back here for the wider map.
The four solution areas
The documentation is organized around what you are trying to do, not around the platform's internal structure.
Solution area
HPC Foundations
The execution stack: jobs, workstations, software, hardware, and where the data lands.
Solution area
Advanced Modeling & Simulation
Multi-run studies and design exploration: workflows, DOE, and the metadata that keeps them navigable.
Solution area
Agentic Engineering
Agents that act on the platform, and the MCP server that exposes it to your own tools.
Solution area
AI Physics
Train surrogate models on simulation data and run inference in place of a solve.
Capabilities that cut across them
The pages in this section are not tied to one solution area. They apply whichever way you use the platform.
